Am I Ready for GiveBIG?
If you have submitted your organization’s profile updates and have successfully tested the Donate Now button, you are all set for GiveBIG 2015! Your organization is automatically entered into a drawing for a $100 Taco Time gift card courtesy of returning sponsor, Taco Time, if you complete testing by midnight on April 15. If you haven’t submitted your profile updates or tested the Donate Now button, read on.
Profile Updates Due April 15
April 15 is coming up. Have you submitted your profile updates? Please get your profile updates in so we will have time to format and publish them before the event.
I Can’t Find My Organization’s Profile on The Seattle Foundation Website
We are caught up on all new profiles that have been submitted. If you don’t see your profile but you believe you have completed it, please go to www.seattlefoundation.org and choose Your Account. Select the NPO Profile tab and click on your organization’s name at the bottom of that screen. Check your updates and then scroll to the bottom of the screen and choose Submit. It may take us a few days to get your submission formatted and published. If your profile is new to the website, you will receive an email from us.
Donate Now Button Testing
Test Your Donate Now Link by Midnight on April 15 for Gift Card Drawing
Please run a small credit card transaction through the Donate Now button on your organization’s profile by midnight on Wednesday (April 15) to be automatically entered into a drawing for a $100 Taco Time gift card from our returning sponsor, Taco Time. More importantly, your test will confirm that your Click & Pledge account is active and ready to receive donations during GiveBIG. Even if you miss the deadline for the drawing, you should still test your Donate Now button.
My Transaction Didn’t Go Through When I Tested My Donate Now Button
We have heard from several of you that changed banks since last year’s event and then had trouble running the test transaction through your Donate Now button. Closing a bank account is the most common reason that a Click & Pledge transaction fails in testing. It is easily fixed with a call to TransFirst (the merchant bank that processes credit card payments for Click & Pledge): 800-654-9256. Please have a statement handy if you don’t know your merchant ID.
I Don’t See a Credit Card Option on My Organization’s Profile
Some of you have not completed the Click & Pledge sign-up process. If you don’t see a credit card option on the Donate Now button on your organization’s profile on The Seattle Foundation website, please check your email for recent correspondence from TransFirst or call 800-654-9256 to check on the status of your account.
